Meta-Onye-Di-Nma Enyi

International Show Promoter Memorial Band

Show promoter, whose real name is Nelson Ejindaka, performed with his dance group in the Eastern region. His songs are known to be filled with admonition. He sought to teach and advise his society through the songs he sang. Not much exists about him online but from what is known he released a couple of songs that solidified him as a musician. “Ndi Uka Muo Nso”, is an advice for people not to offend one another. This life is short and does not need such problems that won’t help but destroy relationships between people. Igbo highlife is known to express cultural and social topics that the musician hopes to change or make better. Another popular song is “Onwu Mere Dike Aru”, which speaks of a strong man that has lost people in his life. They are gathered for a funeral and the singer laments how much the man has lost and hopes to console him. His other songs include: “ Onwu Dimka”, “ Onwu Mayor”, “Obiara Egbum”. The musician helped shape the style of addressing grim topics that a lot of others would shy from.
